I got a job!!!!

Well, let me start with how I got the job...

Sunday night the neighbors across the hall were having a "domestic dispute" and asked me over to be an independent witness before the cops got there. Anyways, the cops came and so on. But Genette's (the neighbor) friend said that her daughter needs a babysitter her six month old son on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 7:30 to 12:30. Anyways, I gave Gail my number and Jessie called me tonight and told me I had the job. They were pretty desperate because she was about to lose her job from staying home with the baby. So anyways, after class tonight I went to their house (23 and Gratiot) and met the baby (Aiden). He's such a cute kid. I HAVE A JOB!!!! I told her that my rate was $6 an hour.

I got a new coat today, and finally got Paul some pants.

I also ordered candles and holders for the wedding.

Not much else is going on... I have a job!! I'm so excited!!!!

My laptop comes tomorrow!!!

Wedding Weekend....

We had a wedding related weekend for the most part... But let me start off with what we did on Friday...

On Friday I went shopping. I got Paul 5 shirts and I got a pair of jeans and 5 shirts. I went to Fashion Bug, Old Navy, and JC Penny's. I went to JC Penny's to get Paul some work pants, but I couldn't find his size. I wound up getting me a few shirts, him a few shirts, and my wedding night lingerie (but I have to return that because it's too big!!!). So I'm going back tomorrow to get him a bigger size pants, I couldn't find pants for him because his waist is so small (29) and it' hard to find. But he said he could wear a 30, so I'll go look for that. Plus I have to get me a new coat tomorrow. My coat won't zip up anymore... so it gets VERY cold for me!!!

We ordered our cake topper (not sure if I mentioned that in Thursday's entry).

On Friday night we went to Circuit City and bought a digital camera. I love it. It's so easy to use. All together it was around $280. The camera was $179 and the 1 gb memory card was $80. Plus we bought a little bag for it ($13). It's so small and cute. And works great.

Then Friday night we went to Beth's and I helped her clean Cierra's room!!! Her room was disgusting. It was nothing but trash.... trash all over the floor, tissues (used), empty bottles, bugs... it was gross. We cleaned it up really good. About 2 hours work.

On Saturday we had Jen's birthday dinner. Fay, Jerry, Beth, Mike, and Shana came. We had southwest chicken wraps... yummy!!!

After Jen's dinner we went to buy Paul a suit for the wedding. We found a REALLY nice one from Burlington Coat Factory. Plus it was only $150. We also got him some nice shoes for like 40 bucks. And a cute purple tie for $8.

Saturday night Paul and I went out on a "date"!! We went to the movies, saw "Firewall" with Harrison Ford. It was a good movie... very interesting concept. Then we went to Applebee's for drink.

Today we went to Fay and Jerry's for lunch. We had yummy sandwiches. And just talked. When we left there went to Wal-Mart so I could look at wedding bands (didn't find anything), but we bought "X-Files" season 2.

When we got home got we ordered our wedding bands online. I got a gorgeous silver one with heart inlay. Paul got a pretty one too, but it's plain.

Right now Paul is watching Friday's AMC, and I'm eating the southwest chicken leftovers.... yummy!!!!

Bonus Came!!!!

We got Paul's bonus today. It was a total suprise that it came today. We were expecting it to come on the 28th.

I'm looking at the bank account right now and something doesn't add up. According to the bank account the bonus was deposited in the account on the 20th... It doesn't make sense. I just asked Paul and he says he didn't know. Oh well... I just feel like he held out on me though. He says he gets emails when deposits are made into the account... so why didn't he get an email on the 20th when the bonus was deposited? And if he did... why didn't he tell me? I'm not saying he lied to me, but it just doesn't add up.

Anyways, I ordered my laptop today. So this time next week I'll be writing my blog on my new Dell Laptop!!! YAY!!!!

I also ordered flowers, vases, tulle, etc. online today.

I ordered 50 white Gerbera Dasies, 20 pink jumbo Gerbera Daisies, 20 4" lavendar Gerbera Daisies, 5 Gerbera Daisy lavendar boquets, 5 mixed daisy/orchid salmon/cream boquets, and 5 24" onion grass from afloral.com for $118 including shipping.

From save-on-crafts.com I ordered 50 yards of 54" wide white glimmer tulle, 5 clear cylinder 9" vases, 5 clear bulging cylinder 7 3/4" vases, 5 bags of 24 glass heart vase gems, 10 bags of 40 clear glass vase gems, and 6 4" styrofoam balls for $144 including shipping.

I also ordered our cake topper today. It's cute.

All of this stuff is going to Momma's house.

We also ordered my plane tickets today. I fly out Monday, April 17th at like 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Little Rock at 1:30 p.m. I have an hour layover in Chicago.

Tomorrow I'm going to JC Penny's to get Paul some new pants. And then I'm going to stop at Michael's to get stuff to make the favors and ribbons. Although maybe I should wait until I get a 40% off coupon.... Yea, I should wait until Monday to get all that.

I finished my wedding rose petal thingys... they turned out really nice. I have 75 all together. 25 raspberry, 25 orchid, and 25 mixed. They're pretty. I'm proud of myself.

Today it Jen's 18th birthday. We went out to dinner at Logan's. It was good. I had chicken. She got her TV... she seems to like it. She knew what it was though.

I feel like crying right now, and I'm not sure why. I just feel so guilty for spending money, and I feel like Paul held out on me about the bonus (but in my heart I know he didn't, it was just an oversight). I always feel guilty when I spend money, because Paul makes me feel that way. Anytime I buy something he's like "geez". I could see his face drop everytime I told him how much something was for the wedding. But I'm doing the best I can. I feel like I've gotten VERY good deals on everything I've bought for the wedding... I just feel sad right now, depressed kinda. I don't know why. I should be happy. I've accomplished alot of wedding stuff, ordered my laptop, and got my plane tickets. I should be happy, but instead I feel bad and depressed about spending money. As Paul always says "We have to get a house first".... I know we have to get a house, but I also want a nice wedding. And we're saving 10's of thousands of dollars on ALOT of stuff. I've opted for silk flowers instead of real (there's atleast 2 grand saved). We're not hiring a photographer (another 5-6 grand saved). We're not hiring a caterer (another 2-3 grand). We're not renting a hall for the reception (another grand). My grandma is doing our cake. We're getting all the tables and chairs for free... etc... the savings go on and on... But Paul still makes me feel bad. I don't know what to do. I want to be excited and proud of myself for saving money, but Paul doesn't seem to look at it that way... anytime I'm spending money he doesn't like it.... I love him so much though... and can't wait to marry him!!!!

I would like to get me some clothes tomorrow too, but I'm afraid Paul will get upset. I was thinking about going to Macomb Mall and getting some stuff from "rave"... but like I said, I'm afraid Paul will get upset, and I don't want him to get upset with me....

I don't know what to do.....

Wedding Crafts...

Okay, I don't think of myself as a crafty person... but a creative person. Well, Sally gave me these styrofoam circles (about 2 inches around) that are sticky on one side (they have paper that pulls off to expose the sticky). So I decided to order rose petals (colors- orchid and raspberry) and glue the rose petals around these styrofoam thingys to make flowers... They are turning our PERFECT!!! Not to mention beautiful. I'm so proud of myself. Paul even like them... Lol.... It's very time comsuming though. I worked for about two hours and have 13 raspberry ones, 13 orchid ones, and 13 mixed ones. We like the mixed the most. Good thing I still have plenty of time. I wonder how many I should make though. I want to make sure I have plenty of rose petals left over to toss on the tables, aisle, etc. Hmmm.... Not sure... I'll have to think about.

Alot of the rose petals are bent, so I'm just setting those aside and thought those would work well for the tables and aisle....

I keep burning myself with the hot glue gun too... Lol... Figures... I touch anything that's hot!!! It was a running joke between Bethany, her mom (La Rae), and me. Her mother thought (and was right) that if she told me not to touch something that was hot I would accidently touch it. However, if she DIDN'T tell me not to touch it I wouldn't touch it... How funny is that?!!?!

Anyways, I didn't do much today. Tomorrow is Jen's 18th birthday. We got her a 20 inch TV. And we're going to go out to dinner tomorrow night too. It should be fun and yummy.

We're going to watch some more "X-Files" in a minute. I've watched all of season 4 "Golden Girls"... bummer!!!

I can't wait to get Paul's bonus next week. I can't wait to get my laptop.... Hehehe!!!

Anyways, not much else going on.

The cat has been sleeping in odd places today. He slept in our laundry hamper for about 4 hours. And now he's laying in the chair in our bedroom... He never does that. He's been there for about 3 hours. What a life... just laying around all day!!! Wouldn't that be nice?!?! Actually, I'd probably go crazy!!!

Freaking Out!!!

Our wedding is in 64 days and I'm freaking out. I feel like theres so much left to be done. We haven't even ordered rings yet!!!! Paul doesn't have a suit yet. There's just so much left to get done and I'm freaking out. This is the first time I've freaked out about the wedding and I'm not liking it very much. I feel like I'm going to cry.... There's so much left to be done.

We have to order flowers. (we'll do on the 28th - bonus comes)

I need to start tanning. (when bonus comes)

Paul needs to get his suit. (when bonus comes)

Mom hasn't rented the chairs or tables yet.

Okay... those are things that need to be done... So here are things that are done... it's shorter the the to-do list...

I think thats it. So much left to do. Just feeling a tad bit overwhelmed right now... It'll go away... I hope!!!!

On a happier note, we found out how much Paul's bonus is going to be (8,5) and we're getting it on the 28th.

We worked out today. And watched "X-Files"....

Anyways, I'm still freaking out, so I'm going to go make some lists!!

Golden Girls...

I'm watching "Golden Girls" right now. The episode is "Love Me Tender". It's about Dorothy having a blind date and Blanche taking part in the "be a pal" program where she mentors young girls... Dorothy is totally sexually attracted to this short weird guy names Eddie. It's her blind date....


I had class tonight. We have a new girl in the group. Her name is Michelle and she's Hollies day care helper. She seems nice and very smart... she's knowledgable about eveything...

I got Laura's address.

I went to Wal-Mart today and returned my jeans and the pillow case. I got a new purse and new pillow cases. I love my new purse.

Not much has happened today.

I did see AIRFORCE ONE today... it was cool. I saw it coming in for a landing at Selfridge. It was blue and white, and they had cops all over the place. M59 was closed at I94. I had to go all the way up to 23 mile, and come back to M59 on Gratiot... pain in the ass...

The cat is using the litter box. I can hear him scratching around in his litter.

Weekend...

On Friday I did some more school work... the rest of that chapter I was on.

Then I went to Wal-Mart and got a few more things. I had to get a mop because Jen's toilet over flowed onto the floor. There was like an inch of water on her bathroom floor... it was icky.

Friday night Paul and I went looking around for a laptop for me, because we got out refund Friday. We couldn't a laptop within our price range so we're waiting until the 28th when he gets his bonus to get me a laptop. But we did get Jen's birthday present. A 20 inch flat screen TV. That's what she said she wanted... so that's what she got.

We had a busy day on Saturday... very busy. I got some wedding stuff accomplished. We went to Michael's and looked at some stuff... I ordered our cameras, bubbles, rose petals, and napkins. Woo Hoo!!! Slowly getting the to-do list wittled down.

We also went to Somerset Mall and I got some make-up remover from ORIGINS. Then we went to Sephora and I got an eye shadow and BareMinerals. I LOVE IT!! It's amazing!!! I'm wearing it today and it's flawless and takes like 20 seconds to put on!!!

After Somerset we went to Trader Joe's and did our major grocery shopping. Got some really good things.

We came home, watched "The Fog" and then went to Beth's. At Beth's we just sat around talking and hanging out. It was fun though.

It was like 5 degrees last night... BBBBBUUUUURRRRRRRR!!!!

Today we went to Fay and Jerry's for lunch, of course. We had spaghetti and meatballs for lunch. It was sooooooooo good. Then we printed up our inner envelopes... That didn't take as long as last week did.... Lol...

Now Paul is watching AMC, and after AMC we're going to make out Valentines Day chocolate covered strawberries. We always make them on V-day, but didn't this year... so we're doing them today... YUMMY!!!!

Also, DH and GA are both new tonight... looking foward to that...

After we make the strawberries we'll probably watch X-Files... I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

Since we didn't get a laptop we're thinking about getting a new digital camera... ya know... one that works!!!! I can't wait... it'll be nice...

Short and Sweet...

I have a head ache and am tired, so this blog is going to very short and straight to the point.

I did half a chapter of school work today.

Cleaned the kitchen.

Watched AMC.

Went to Kroger.

Paul and I worked out again... 25 minutes. I did 10 on the bike, 10 on the treadmill, and 5 more on the bike. Then did weights.

We had salad for dinner...

I took a nice hot shower.

Watched "Golden Girls" at 6:00.

We watched the first episode of "X-Files"... It's amazing I love that show...

Then after Paul watched AMC at 8:00 we watched 2 more episodes of "X-Files". It's a very good show... very paranormal... very interesting. This is the first time I've ever really seen an episode all the way through.

It's been raining all day. Right now it's raining VERY hard... we're getting a pond out back. It's supposed to get cold tomorrow though... with like the high of 23. It just thundered and lighteninged (sp?).... I'm scared... I hate thunder storms... they're scary... I just tucked Paul in so I'm up alone...

I'm watching "Roseanne" and then going to watch "Golden Girls" at 11:30... my season 4 I got for V-day... YAY!!!!

I'm eating a Slim Fast cooke dough bar thingy... very yummy!!!

Abuelos!!!

I had a busy day today... very busy.

I did my school work this morning... only 5 chapters left.

Then I took a hot bath and deep conditioned my hair.

Then of course, AMC was on.

At 2:00 I went to Wal-Mart and spent $154... I was there for over an hour. We are all stocked up on things... YAY!!! I got a Febreeze Noticibles air freshner... and it smells really good. It's one of those plug in things. I plugged it up in the dining room and it made the dining room, kitchen, and living room smell REALLY good. Then I also got an Airwicks thingy... it's also a plug in. I put it in the bedroom... it's lavender scented... relaxing and smells good too!!! Of course, I got a bunch of other stuff too. I got a new nail polish... I like it, it's pretty. I got a new eye liner and mascara... I don't care for the mascara though... I'll use it though... maybe I'll get used to it. I got some kleenexs... I still can't believe we ran out... I never run out of anything!!! My home is always fully stocked with everything... and before I run out I buy more... except kleenexs apparently... Lol...

I stopped by Rite Aid and got Paul some Jack Daniels for V-day... he liked it. I hid it from him in the entertainment center and he was looking in there thinking I got him a TV show on DVD and didn't even see the Jack until like 5 minutes after standing there looking... It was sooo funny. Jen and I were laughing so hard. Lol....

When I was driving home from Rite Aid I had my window cracked because I was really hot and a huge snowball fell off of a tree and into my car window... It hit me on the head and I got soaked... I was so pissed. Lol... At first I thought some idiot kid threw a snowball at me, but when I stopped I didn't see anyone, but noticed I was under a bunch of trees... Lol... Oh well...

Then I got home and put all the Wal-Mart stuff away, and by the time I was done with that it was 4:20 and Paul was home. So I got ready and we went out to dinner at Abuelos... It was sooo goooood. And I got a Tropical Rum Punch.. YUM!!! I'm still full from dinner at it's 11:30 p.m.... Lol!!

After we ate we went to Best Buy so Paul could get me "Golden Girls" and I could get him his other V-day present... At first I couldn't find "X-Files" so I grabbed "Party of Five" for him, but then I found "X-Files" season 1 so I got that for him... he really likes it. And when "Roseanne" goes off in a couple of minutes, I'm going to watch my first "Golden Girls" of season 4.

We watched LOST and INVASION a little bit ago... they were very good. Sayid found a guy in the woods and thinks he one of the "others" so he tortured him, and now really believes that he is one of the "others". On INVASION Kira goes into the water and gets taken by the lights... when Tom finds her she's has those hole things on her. Also, Merrielle finds out that she has a huge ovary full of eggs from the "ligths" in her. So it's like she's pregnant with the aliens babies... UGH!!! And that crazy chick Kristina looks like she's pregnant too... and it going to "give birth" next week... Looks good!!!

Well, time for my first episode of season 4 "Golden Girls" YAY!!!!

Valentines Day!!!!

Today is Valentines Day!!! Paul got me a GORGEOUS dolphin necklace. It's a gold chain with a three dolphin pendant. The dolphins are in pink gold, white gold, and yellow gold... it's so beautiful!!! I love it!!!!!!! He's also going to get the "Golden Girls" season 4 on DVD... I can't wait for that either. I haven't decided what to get him yet... we're waiting until the 15th (tomorrow) to buy gifts, although he did get me the necklace. I'm definitely going to get him some Jack Daniels. And I can't decide between "The Brady Bunch" or "The X-Files" on DVD... guess I'll figure it out when I get to the store tomorrow. We're going out to dinner tomorrow for our V-Day dinner because he doesn't get paid until them. We're probably going to "Abuelo's" for dinner... although we're not sure yet... We said we'll figure it out tomorrow... it's depends on if we want mexican or italian.. Abuelo's in mexican and Carraba's is italian...

Anyways, we worked out again today. I've lost half a pound.. YAY!!!

I did some more school work today... only 6 chapters left!! I can't wait to be done with it... I should be getting my mid-term back soon. I'm anxious to see how I did...

Not much has been going on... I mentioned earlier in the week that I got an email from Aunt Sharon and we've been emailing each other back and forth... now that she knows thats my way of communication she checks her email more often... Lol... I love it when I get an email from her... I get all excited!!! I miss her... Can't wait to see her in April...

Not much else is going on.. I'm watching "Iron Chef"... I haven't figured out what the secret ingredient is yet... and unfortunatly it's not the American version... but damn that food looks good... Now I'm getting hungry... I think the secret ingredient may be Mushrooms.. YUMMYYYYY!!!!!

PH Balance...

I just got back from class, and today's lesson was about health. I started talking about how I have scid reflux really bad and Sally told me to read "The PH Balance Diet". I need to make my body more alkaline. So on the 15th I'm going to get that book and Paul and I are going to eat by that book. Also, no red meat and no pork. So now its strictly chicken, turkey, or veggie. Also, I should lose some weight doing this too, so I'm going to wait before I do the South Beach Diet. I'm looking foward to it. Sally said that I should continue to take my Prilosec for a month after I start the diet before I go off of it.

Another thing I'm going to try to do is stop taking Benadryl. I know it's going to be hard, but I'm really going to try. If I want to be completely healthy I need to stop the Benadryl. Man I hate addictions. I know I should also say I'm going to quit smoking.... well.... When I get pregnant I will....

I got an email from Aunt Sharon today!! YAY!! I was so excited to see it and hear from her.

We got rid of one of the yucky pumpkins today. Lol... FINALLY!!!

I also got Cindy and Hollie's addresses today. I have Sally's already and now I just need Laura's. Laura wasn't there today because Johnathon was sick.

I did some school work today. Finished another chapter... Woo Hoo!!! Almost done!! I can't wait!!!

Right now I'm watching "Roseanne".

Kittie's Gone...

I just looked in the hallway and the kitty is gone. I just hope it isn't outside, it's so cold outside. I named her Chloe. Lol...

We just watched DH and GA. They were very good. Meredith got the bomb out of the dude and as the bomb technician was carrying the bomb down the hall it exploded, but only the bomb people were killed. Dr. McDreamy saved the Nazi's husband, and the Nazi delivered her baby with George's help, she even named the baby after George, George is the babies middle name. You can tell Dr. McDreamy is still in love with Meredith and Meredith is still in love with him. It was very good.

Right now I'm watching Roseanne. And listening to Precious' collar jingle against his food bowl. It's actually a relaxing sound.

Another Kitty...

I feel so bad right now. There is another kitty in our hallway, and people are moving in so the doors are open, so it's like 15 degrees in the hallway. The kitty is very small (Compared to Precious) She doesn't have a lot of fluffy fur like Precious does, and has NO fat at all. I gave the kitty some dry food and wrapped him up in a towel and a sweatshirt. Right now the kitties sitting under the stairs wrapped up in the towel and shirt. All you can see is its ear sticking out. I feel so bad for it. If Precious wasn't so damn mean, I'd let the kitty come in for the night and take it to a shelter tomorrow, but Precious is so mean. I just feel soo bad for that poor kitty. Some people are so cruel. The kitty is very friendly, so he obviously belongs to someone, how can people let their kitties go outside when it's 10 degrees out there? I hate people like that. If the cats there tomorrow I'm thinking about calling the Humane Society. It's just so cruel to do that to animals, they're so helpless and need us to take care of them, and some people just don't get that.

We didn't go to Beth's last night because Beth and Mike went to a sex toy party at Yolanda's. We watched a few movies this weekend. We watched "Half Light" with Demi Moore, it was pretty good. And then we watched "In Her Shoes". I loved that movie. I want to get that movie (hint, hint to Paul... Lol).

We went to Fay and Jerry's today. We had Taco's for lunch... Man they were good. We also printed out our invitation envelopes. I am so happy with the way they turned out. They're so perfect. It took Paul and Jerry like 3 hours to figure out how to do it though. But they are perfect. I think they look better then if we would have hired a calligrapher... which we don't have the money for.

Still no email from Aunt Sharon.

Aunt Shirley called me today to find out what color of blue I want on my garter, and to find out what color flowers to put on it. I told her I wanted a darker, bright, vibrant blue. I know that doesn't make much sense, but she understood what I meant. It should be perfect.

Right now I'm watching "Extreme Home Makeover" on ABC. It's good, but it always is. DH and GA is on later. GA is the second part to last week. Last weeks eppy was sooo damn good. It was about "Code Black" which is "BOMB". There is a patient with and explosive in his chest, but it hasn't exploded yet, so it's "hot". Then Meredith puts her hand in his chest to hold it in place, so it doesn't move and then explode. So now Meredith is holding the bomb, Dr. McDreamy is operating on the Nazi's husband because he has a brain injury from a car wreck while trying to get the hospital because the Nazi is in labor. This week should be VERY good, I'm actually lookin foward to GA more then DH. I don't even remember where we left off on DH.

Anyways, nothing much else is going on. I'm just sitting here feel very badly about that poor kitty in the hallway. I just feel so horribly for it....

Usual day...

I did the usual today. School work (all about WWII), cleaned, laundry, and cooked dinner. Paul and I didn't go to Beth's tonight, but we're going tomorrow. We went to Blockbuster and rented some movies. We got "The Fog", "In Her Shoes", and some movie with Demi Moore (I can't remember the name it looked good though. We also watched "The Island". It was a good movie about clones... very interesting. Paul just went to bed so I thought I'd do my blog. The cat has been fed and I'm watching "The Golden Girls". It's funny!!! Nothing much is going on today.

We looked at laptops online today... looks like I'm getting a Dell.. I can't wait!!! I want it sooo bad... lol... Paul says we should wait until we get the bonus to get it, but why can't we get it with our tax refund? The tax refund is enough, and we KNOW he's going to get his bonus... I guess I don't understand his thinking, but I would never tell him that... he'd yell at me. He doesn't like it when I don't understand things... Oh well... I still love him.

9 Chapters Left...

Today I did two chapters of school work because they were really short. I was wrong when I said today's chapter was wrong... it's tomorrows. I only have 9 chapters left though.. YAY!!!

Right now we're watching Primetime Live... It is very interesting and very sad. It's about teenage girls being kidnapped and forced to prostitute. It's so sad and disgusting to think that there are men out there like that. They do some pretty horrific things to these girls.

Anyways, we worked out today. I did 15 minutes on the bike and 10 minutes on the treadmill. It was a good work out.

I'm afraid Precious is sick. He's didn't even want to play today. All he does is sleep... all day. It's not usual for him sleep as much as he has been these past couple of days.

I just went out for a smoke and that grey cat was outback again. We haven't seen him in a while and he has a collar on now. I let him in the building and gave him some food because it's WAY to cold outside for him. It's like 20 degrees. Of course Precious wasn't too happy to see him on our backporch. There was a lot of hissin goin on... Lol.. When I put the cat food on the plate Precious thought I was feeding him and ran into the bedroom where I was getting the food. So I shut the door to lock him in there in case the cat ran into our apartment (which he's been known to do). He didn't run in, but when I fed him he seemed very hungry. I feel sorry for the cat and hate the people to let him outside when it's so cold. Bastards.

Anyways, that's all the excitment that's been goin on around here today.... Very exciting huh... Lol!!!

I forgot to say that my back is really sore today... Way more sore then yesterday. Damn that ice...

My Fall!!

My day started off okay. I woke at 10:30 feeling really tired, but got up anyways, had my coffee and did my school work. Then watched AMC.

At 2:00 I decided to go to the clinic today and get my BC (which I forgot to take outta my purse, I better remember to do that). Anyways, when I was walking out to my car I slipped and fell on the ice. It hurt like hell and I got all wet, but I still went to the clinic (wet and in pain). On my way to the clinic there was ALOT of traffic and I was in the second right lane and nobody would let me over, so I missed my exit. I was so pissed and was screaming at everyone. I had to go all the way to Woodward and turn around and come back to Dequindre. I was not happy, still wet, and in alot of pain. Fortunatly I only set in the clinic for a couple of minutes and they had OLTL on, so it wasn't that bad in there. Then I decided to stop at Kroger. I got a Stouffer's Lasagna, hummus, and pita. We had the lasagna for dinner, because my back is killing me and I didn't want to cook dinner. I just had to put it in the oven. It took like an hour and a half to cook, but it was good. My back still hurts from my fall.

Jen just asked if she could borrow my copy of "Flowers in the Attic" by V.C. Andrews. Of course I let her. It's in pretty bad shape though because it's the original copy from the 1970's. Lol... My mom's original copy. It doesn't have a front cover. Lol... But she wants to read it for English. I think she'll enjoy it.

Anyways, Paul is watching AMC right now. I'm doing my entry early today because LOST is on... and it's new... YAY!! And then at 10:00 INVASION is on... and it's new also... YAY!!!

We didn't work out today because of my pain from the fall... hopefully I'll be better tomorrow so we can work out.

Oh yea, I can't believe I almost forgot. Paul found out today that he's going to get his bonus at the end of February!!! Can't wait. It's SUPPOSED to be BIG (10,000-15,000). That'll definitly help pay for the wedding, and he said that we could get me a laptop. I can't wait to get a new laptop. I don't like not having a laptop during the day.

Still waiting on the income tax return. But that's small in comparison to the bonus! lol...

I read all about FDR today. It was pretty interesting. Tomorrow's chapter looks long though, like 30 pages. I hope I can do it all before AMC starts. I only have 11 chapters left... WOO HOO!!!! I should definitly have it done before the wedding. The final and research project is going to take time though. But I KNOW I can do it!!!

Mom called and told me that Russell had a massive heart attack Tuesday morning, so she didn't get my check in the mail today. The doctors told them that they have to replace 4 or 5 of his arteries because they are sooo blocked. It's horrible. I hope he's going to be okay. I don't really know him that well, but he's nice and I know Momma's close to him. I really do hope he's going to be okay.

Anyways, I'm gonna go see if Jen wants to go smoke with me. It's dark outside and I don't want to go out there by myself, and Paul's watching AMC. But I wanna smoke before LOST starts.. Lol.....

Today....

Today was a pretty good day. I did some laundry and cleaned... the usual! Lol..

We worked out today. I've gained 3 pounds though. Paul thinks it might be muscle though. I got my South Beach Diet thing today... I ordered the casset, not book. I was sooo pissed when I saw that. I couldn't believe it. We're going to go to the book store this weekend and I'm going to see if I can get it.

I did some more school work today. Chapter 23. I'm finally up to the 1920's and 1930's. I read about the Great Depression and the stock market crash. Pretty interesting. Tomorrow I get to read all about FDR... Woo Hoo!!! Lol... yea right.

All My Children...

We're watching AMC right now. It's good today. Ryan just proved to Kendall that Zach caused the blackout... on purpose... that caused her to get pregnant with her child, not Greenlee's and Ryan's. I really do NOT like Ryan. He just needs to mind his own damn business and leave Kendall alone. For once she's happy and Ryan is trying to ruin it.

Anyways, Jamie, JR, and Babe are trying to get the truth out of Amanda while she's in jail. Amanda remembers that JR was the one driving the car that hit her, and tells Detective Frye. I think they get her out of jail and she goes to the Mardi Gras Gala, where Janet has an explosion all set up to kill a few people. It only kills Ethan though.

I was right, Josh is Erica and Jeff Martin's son. Tad is going to blow that fish outta the water on Friday. That should be pretty interesting.

Oh, and Dixie's supposed to be at the Mardi Gras Gala watching JR and Babe. I think she's going to be exposed by the explosion though.

SNOW!!!

I think I forgot to mention that we got snow on Saturday night. I mentioned that it was snowing, but forgot to say it stuck on Sunday's entry. We got about 3 inches and it's gorgeous... Lol... I love the cold... I'm not complaining about the warmer weather, but I really did miss the cold winter... I'm glad it's here... Just wanted to say that!!

Monday Night Class

I had class tonight. It was pretty good. Mostly I just listened to Holly, Laura, and Cindy talk about their kid troubles. Man I'm learning alot about kids from them. lol.. It's interesting listening to them though. I had to write my unwounded childhood for class tonight, it was pretty fun. I got to write about what I wish my childhood would have been like. Of course, the main thing in mine was that my father was involved in my life, and that my mother trusted me. Next week is about health. I think I'm going to enjoy doing next weeks homework. Damn, I forgot to get everyones last names and addresses. Damnit... I have to do that next week.

Anyways, I did another chapter on my school work today. I think it was chapter 22. l'm finally up to the roaring twenties. It's pretty interesting. I can't wait to get my mid-term back. I mailed it out on Saturday, February 4,2006. So I should get it back around February 18thish.

I also did laundry and vaccumed, the usual.

Wednesday or Thursday I'm going to PPH to get my BC. Woo Hoo!!! How exciting... yea right!! Atleast I don't have to have a pap done. I hate those damn things.

I was in ALOT of pain last night. It was just like the pain I was having in April of last year. Where my back on the right side hurt and my tummy hurt. I was doubled over in pain from about midnight to three a.m. It wasn't fun. Around 3 Paul woke up and asked me what was wrong and I told him, then he got me an Excedrin and a Benadryl, hoping the pain would stop and I could sleep. Well, I don't remember anything after taking the pills so I guess I did sleep....

Oh funny story... I woke up this morning while Paul was getting ready for work (the pain was gone). And I saw that he was putting on his long johns, and I thought "good he's wearing them... it's so cold outside". And then I thought I went back to sleep. BUT Paul says that I looked at him and said "HI" then reached out for him, he walked over to me and kissed me and hugged me and we said "I love you" to each other. I don't remember any of that. Other then seeing him put on his Long Johns. How funny is that!!!!

The cat is anxious right now. He's wanting to get fed, even thought it's only 10:00. Lol.. So I guess lunch isn't helping his night time hunger too much, it does make him less annoying sometimes though, so that's good.

No email back from Aunt Sharon yet. Hopefully I'll get one back from her tomorrow.

I should be getting my "South Beach Diet" book in the mail soon. Good, I'm looking foward to doing that. It should be interesting, I hope I lose more weight. We're going to work out tomorrow also.

Paul tried to cash my birthday check from my mom today but couldn't because the date was written out to 2005 instead of 2006. How funny is that... It's just because the year is so new and she accidently wrote '05. So the bank wouldn't cash it because they can't cash checks over 6 months old... so that was a bummer... so now I have to wait even longer before I can get another pair of jeans... oh well... that's life... you don' always get what you want when you want...

The cat's setteled down, he's sleeping across his couch cushion... all stretched out... Lol.

Emailed Aunt Sharon!!!

Mom called and said that Aunt Sharon called her back!!! YAY!!! So Mom gave me her email address, mailing address, and phone number. So I sent her an email. It was pretty long. I also sent her a bunch of pictures from Christmas. And some of me in my dress. I was so happy that they were able to get in contact. Mom said that Aunt Sharon said the WOULD be at the wedding. That they wouldn't miss it for anything. I'm so happy about that.

Greys Anatomy is starting so I'm gonna go.

Super Bowl Sunday!!!

Wooo Hooo!!! PARTAAAY!!! Yea right!! Paul and I are sitting at home watching the Super Bowl and the Puppy Bowl... Yep you read right. The Puppy Bowl. I'm not kidding. On Animal Planet they're having the Puppy Bowl. It's just a bunch of puppies on a makeshift football field playing. It's cute... They also had a kitty half time. It's cute... I'm just flippig to it ocassionally. We're also enjoying the commercials for the Super Bowl. We just saw the Rolling Stones during half time. It was pretty good, but damn Mick Jagger is old and SKINNY!!!!

We went to Fay and Jerry's today. It was fun as usual, just ate lunch and talked for a few hours. The usual.

The cat is sleeping right now, of course. Lol...

I've got to pick out a new book to read.... Hmmm wonder which one I should read...

I clipped coupons today. Got some good ones. Some even for cat litter and cat food. Lol...

I'm gonna go some more school work tomorrow. I have to do my Unit 7 Vocabulary before I start another chapter... Hmmm... maybe I'll do that now... MAYBE!!! Lol..

We tried to print out the invitation envelopes today... it worked OKAY. Not the best. We're going to try to do them on Fay and Jerry's printer though. Our printer is kinda crappy and old. It kept pulling the envelopes in crooked.

Winter Blast...

We went to Winter Blast in downtown Detroit last night. It was fun. There were TONS of people down there though. The weather cooperated, so that was good. It was about 40 degrees and didn't rain or snow. It wasn't that bad. The worse part was that everything (Food, drinks, etc.) was soooo damn expensive. Lol... We went with Beth, Mike, Yolanda, Dasia, Eddie, Kelly, Joe, Lj, and that other kid (I can't remember his name). It sucked having 3 kids with us though. They slowed us down ALOT. Plus Mike's family doesn't get in any hurry anyways. It was fun though, we got to look at alot of booths and in some Superbowl stores. I wish I would have gotten that hat though. I'm still kicking myself over that one. We also ate a little bit of food... not much because it was soooo expensive.

Anyways, yesterday I did some more school work, and cleaned as usual.

Today I did two tests and typed up and mailed in my mid-term. Feels good to have that mailed out. I got 100% on one of my tests and 91% on the other. Not bad if I do say so myself. Lol... Felt good to get it done. My next test is only 2 chapters long, so I should have it done by next Friday. I'm hoping to have American History done before the wedding... I know I can do it!!! I know I can, I know I can, I know I can!!! I'm finally up to 1918 Lol... Last Unit was a little about WW1. I am actually enjoying American History better then I did English III... which surprised the hell outta me. My attitude towards history was always "They're dead, leave them alone" lol... But it's pretty interesting, plus the text book is written really well... It's like reading a novel... which if you know me... I LOVE!!!

We just watched "Flight Plan". That was a DAMN good movie. I usually have the movies figured out about 30 minutes in, but not this one. I knew it was a conspiracy, just didn't know who was in on it. I was thinking it was the flight attendant with the pony tail (I was right) and the captain (I was wrong). It was the flight marshall. Shocker there... lol...It was good though. We're going to watch "The Cave" at 9:00 after Forensic Files goes off...

It's snowing right now. I don't know how much we're supposed to get, or if it's going to stick. It's sticking a little to the grass right now, but not much, looks more slushy then anything.

Finished "Island"...

Well, I finished Island today. It was a pretty good book. A little gruesome, but good. Man Wesley was a sicko and got everything he deserved. I especially liked the part where Rupert cut his dick off and made him eat it!!! Kinda made me smile a lil! So tomorrow I'll probably pick out another book to read... Maybe, I dunno...

Anyways, I really didn't do much today, mostly read. I did school work for an hour. On Saturday Paul and I are going to go to the library and I'm going to type up my mid-term, and maybe do some more school work. Paul likes going to the library, as long as he can use his laptop, I don't know what he's going to do while I'm typing up my reports though. He'll be fine

We also went to Davids Bridal to get my alterations done. It only cost 60 bucks. All I'm having done is the straps and a 3 hook bustle. I also noticed in January that my veil was ripped, so I told them about it and they gave me a new one, free of charge. I wasn't going to pay for even if they did want me too... The manager looked a little upset when she saw my veil, because it was a floor piece and aparently they're not supposed to sell floor pieces. So I think Tonya (my sales lady) may get in a little trouble. Plus the veil was totally discolored (Yellow) and the beads were coming off the ends. It wasn't pretty. But I got a totally new one!!! YAY!! It's so pretty, I love it.

Not much has been going on today. Just set around and did school work, read, cleaned a little, etc. The usual day for me.... Boring... Lol...

I have to go to PPH next week and get some more BC.

The cat is snoring right now.. Hehe. We've decided to feed him lunch since his two meals a day didn't seem to be holding him over. So I gave him some dry cat food around 2:30 today. He scarfed it down real quick. Lol. But it didn't stop him from being annoying around 10.. although he didn't seem as bad, but maybe that's because we didn't go into the kitchen.

Man, I'm tired today. So I think I'm done writing for today.

Good book!!!

Damn Island is a good book. I am really enjoying it. It's a little different from what I usually read, but it's damn good. Without going into too much detail these people got stranded on an island after their boat exploded. The people are Andrew (dad), Billie (mom and step-mom), Connie (daughter), Thelma (daughter), Kimberly (daughter), Keith (Kimberly's hubby), and Rupert (Connies bf, and the one who is keeping the journal). Wesley is Thelma's hubby and at the beginning of the book is supposedly dead from the explosion. But we find out that he's alive and on the island. He is also the evil killer. So far he's killed Andrew and Keith. And I have just read that he kidnapped Billie, Connie, and Kimberly. Thelma ran off with him and is now on his side, helping him kill and kidnap people. Pretty much Themla and Keith are crazy. Anyways, it's a pretty good book. Now Rupert is all alone and catching up on the past few days in his journal. The book is supposed to be Rupert's journal. It's good. I'd reccommend it to anyone. I'm on page 269 of 504.

Anyways, I cleaned the kitchen really good today. And man my ab's are sore from those sit-ups yesterday. We also worked out again today. I'm down to 185!! Woo Hoo!!!

Not much happened today. Just read all day. lol... of course. I did do a little bit of school work, about half a chapter which I plan on finishing in the morning. I was going to go to the library and do it, but I didn't have time so I just did it from home. I have to do it in the morning because sometimes Jen comes home after school, and I don't want to do it with her around. And I didn't wake up until almost noon, so I was only able to get an hours worth in before AMC started. I haven't done any school work since January 4th, so it was good to get back into it. I have a few tests that I need to send in, and I need to type up my mid-term. I have them done... just not typed up and ready to mail in... I know... I tend to slack off in that department, but like I said, they're done.

Anyways, as usual the house is quiet, even the cat is done eating and curled up on his blankey. I tucked Paul in right before I started this blog entry. Roseanne is on tv, as usual. It'll be on untill 11:30 and then I'll read until midnight and it's time for Golden Girls... YAY!!! PARTAAAY!!!!
