37 DAYS!!!!!!

Yesterday while I was shopping I got a call from Sue at Amherst and we scheduled the last walk throughs and the closing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The walk through is on August 22 at 9 a.m. and the final walk through is on August 29 at 9 a.m.

The closing is August 31 at 10 a.m....

I'm soooo freaking excited!!!!! We actually have a date set for the closing!!! YAY!!!!!!

I can't wait... It's so hard to believe... so freaking surreal.. Like I keep expecting to wake up from the dream... Or I keep expecting something to go wrong... like the house will burn down and they'll have to start over, or something will happen and the mortgage will fall through at the last minute... Lol... Of course I know that won't happen... But someone could burn the house down... if they do I'll hurt them tho!! lol...

I can't wait... I'm so freaking excited. I feel like a giddy kid who just got an A on her test and wants to scream it from the roof tops!! It's so amazing!!!!

Some good, Some not so good...

Well it's been a week since my last post so alots happened....

On Monday or Tuesday we went with Jen to look at the house becuase she wanted to see it. While we were there we saw that people had written on the walls, which isn't a big deal because they paint he walls anyways. But then in the kitchen around where the fridge is going to go somebody punched a hole in the wall... They said they'll fix it and they also said that they'll start locking up the doors when they're done at night and on the weekends.

So on Tuesday I worked, Aiden was in a pretty good mood. Same on Thursday.

On Wednesday I took Jen to her doctors appointment. She was nervous about it so I took the day off and went with her. She lied to the doctor about a couple things. She didn't tell the doctor about her abortion and didn't tell the doctor about her drug abuse. But I didn't think she would... All they did was a lot of paper work and then they took alot of blood. They said they couldn't do the ultrasound because her bladder wasn't full... So she has another appointment on Wednesday this week, maybe they'll do the ultrasound this week... I dunno tho...

On Friday we just sat at home and watched Xfiles... It was relaxing.

Yesterday we went to the zoo... It's not a very nice zoo... comparied to the Tulsa zoo. But then again, the Tulsa zoo is one of the top rated zoos in the country... Lol... Guess I've been spoiled on zoos. It was relaxing though. I took alot of pictures. I will say that scenery at the Detroit zoo is very nice.

We didn't go to Beth's because she went to Indiana to camp with Mike's family... I hope she enjoyed herself.

When we got home from the zoo yesterday i found out that SBC finally cancelled my email account... I was kinda pissed because I've lost all my contacts from messenger and my address book. I'm going to call SBC tomorrow and see if theres a way for me to get them. I wasn't happy about that... I was able to set up a Yahoo account but I'm still pissed because I don't know all my email addresses from my address book, or my contacts on Messenger... UGH!!!!

Today we went to the house... It's soooo awesome. They have the cabinets in, all the molding and trim is up, same with the doors.... It's just soooooo cool. While we were there the painting guys were there and doing the attic... It's so cool. Sorry I keep saying that but it is. I can't wait to see what they've done next week.

After we went to the house we went to Fay and Jerry's. Around 2:30 Mike showed up. It was good to see him. It took them about 10 hours to drive in from NY. It's a little odd around Elba tho because she's deaf. I feel like I'm leaving her out of the conversation.... And of course she cant talk to us either. Mike and Jessie are the only one's that know sign language. It's cool that he learned sign language just to be with her though. Jessie is good at it too, of course she learned sign language before she could talk. Jessie was in the pool the whole time practically...

Anyways, not much else is going on. Just doing some laundry, cleaned out the litter box, etc....

Here's what we told Jen last week.

Jennifer,

We want you to be a responsible, mature, and independent woman. Living in our home is a privilege NOT a right.

T Eric’s name HAS to be on the birth certificate.
T Eric HAS to pay child support
T Eric can NOT spend the night under ANY circumstances, however he can visit and spend time with you and the baby. We just don’t want him spending the night.
T You HAVE to work up until you 8th month of pregnancy. If the job you have now does not give you a chance to work then you need to find a new job or take on a second job.
T You HAVE to go back to work 6 weeks after having the baby.
T You and Eric HAVE to take parenting and child birth classes.
T Your space in the new home will be the loft and bedroom. You are to keep that space respectably clean. This will be yours and the babies space. We will not invade your space unless you are there and give us permission to enter.
T You will respect the new home in its entirety.
T You will be responsible for yours and the babies expenses. This includes bathing supplies, furniture, some foods, etc. If we do not have the foods that you want then you can buy them yourself.
T If you decide to stay in the new home with us then at some point you will be expected to pay rent. Rent will kick in on June 1, 2007; unless you start cosmetology school. The amount of rent will be determined at that time.
If you go to cosmetology school you will be expected to move out upon your graduation of schooling. If you do not go to school then you will be expected to move out by the end of 2007 or when Mandy gets pregnant.

You will also be expected to clean up after yourself and the baby. This includes all bottles and diapers. There are to be no dirty bottles in the sink at any time. If you need to wash them by hand, then do so. If you need to put them in the dishwasher, then do so. If the dishwasher is full and clean then unload the dishwasher and put the bottles in there, or you can wash them by hand. If the dishwasher is full and dirty then run the dishwasher and wash the bottles by hand. This also means that any dishes you use will be expected to be cleaned by you. You are not to leave ANY dirty dishes in the sinks, your space (loft and bedroom), or anywhere else in the house. The dirty diapers are to be kept in a trash can or diaper pail in your space. They are not to be in the trash in the kitchen, or any bathroom. When your diaper pail or diaper trash can is full you will take it to the garage and put in it the garbage can there. You will do your own laundry on specified days. The days will be determined at a later date. This is to ensure that you and Mandy do not clash on laundry schedules.

All of these guidelines will help you learn to become more responsible, independent, and mature. If you do not abide by any or all of the guidelines you will be asked to look for another place to live. This is a trial period. If at any time I or Mandy feel uncomfortable or unsatisfied in our home then you will be asked to leave.

If you feel that you cannot follow any of these guidelines feel free to ask questions and perhaps we can come up with a compromise. If you move out, and then decide to move back in these guidelines will be enforced.

A Stressful Life...

The title says it all... Lol...

Paul and I had a meeting with Sally to talk to her about how we should handle Jen being pregnant and her living with us in the new house. The meeting was very productive. I'll post what Sally told us, and then what we told Jen. The talk went good. And Jen agreed with everything, for now anyways.

Jen's been pretty stressed out this weekend. Nancy is giving her alot of shit. Nancy calls her like 12 times a day to make sure Jen is eating right and taking her vitamins. It's driving Jen crazy. Nancy is also pushing Jen to marry Eric... which Jen obviously does NOT want to do.

Eric has started saying that maybe the baby isn't his because she met with Scott on Friday night and they went to Big Boy or something for ice cream. For crying out loud, Scott's gf and their baby was with them... So now Eric thinks the baby is Scotts. How freaking crazy is that?!?!?! Eric is totaly irresponsibly and stupid... you can't have a real conversation with him.. unless it's about cars or something... it's weird.

Anyways, on Friday I took Jen to the health department and got her straight medicaid. So now Jen doesn't have to pay anything. Cause she really can't afford it and we sure as hell aren't paying for it. She has her frist dr.'s appointment on Wednesday and asked me to go with her, so I took the day off and am going to the dr.'s appointment with her. Hopefully we'll find out the sex of the baby...

We went to the house and all the drywall is done... it's so cool to see walls. Before you could look into the other rooms from one room and you could even see upstairs from the first floor. Now you can't. It's soooooo freaking cool. I'll post pictures. We also have half the siding. It's really cool!!!

It's been really hot here. Like in the 90's. It's crazy. I hate it. The only thing I like about it is that I can get a tan and go swimming.

Anyways, I'm all stressed out... this whole baby thing is stressing me out because I know Eric isn't going to stick around, I know Nancy is most likely going to move to MI and try to take over Jens life and that will drive her crazy, and I don't think Jen will be able to handle the baby... it's sooo stressful... And I miss Nathan!! Thank goodness he comes back tomorrow!!!!

Paul is my rock though. I love him!!!!

We have Insulation!!

We went up to the house yesterday and saw that they have the insulation up. I forgot to take the camera with us so hopefully I can get pics before they dry wall... but if not oh well... It's so cool. The attic is much cooler too. The house even sounds different with the insulation up. We're so anxious to get moved in and start our lives together. Paul and I laid in bed for over an hour last night talking about the house before we fell asleep... it's just so exciting... And very new to me. I've always lived in run down crappy rental houses or trailers. Altho the trailer that I grew up in AR wasn't that bad. However, it was also the trailer the I was brought home from the hospital when I was born... so it's old... But not too bad I guess... It's exciting to have something new and it our own. I think Jen has decided to take the attic (with the baby of course) since she sees that its not that hot up there. I really hope she does, if she doesn't I'm going to make her. Because if she doesn't then we'll hear the baby cry all night and we don't want to that. So she either takes the attic or will have to move out. Those are her choices... unless it's too hot of course. I'm not going to make her the baby live up there if it's scorching. But somehow I doubt it will be.

Anyways, Thursday wasn't too bad at work. Aiden slept alot and didn't pee or puke on me... so all in all it was good... Lol...

On Friday I cleaned... as usual. I also had to bake two cakes. One for Cierra's 14th bday dinner and one for Mike's sister Ree... She is such a pain in the ass... so annoying and over bearing. But she can also be nice and loveable too... when shes not wasted... which isn't very often. Anyways she said that I owed her a cake from LAST July for her bday... Because I brought Kelly one last year and didn't bake one for Ree so everytime I've seen her it's been hell on earth cause she wants the cake. However, this is the second one I've baked her. The first one she never got. She did call and thank me for the cake when she got it this time so that was nice...

Anyways, We went to Beth's for Cierra's 14th bday party. It wasn't much. Just Beth, Mike, Cierra, Fay, Jerry, Shena, Paul and Me. We ordered pizza. However, we were like 40 mintues late because 696 was closed from 94 to Van Dyke... which on the news it said it was only closed from 94 to Groesbeck. So we took Groesbeck to 696 but wound up taking the service drive all the way to Van Dyke before we could get on 696. And then when we did get on it was one lane till almost 75... it was horrible... Lol... But we made it there... After we left Beth's we went to the house.

Today we went to Fay and Jerry's and had lunch. Fay and I lounged in the pool for about an house. Belinda was there for a while... she's freaking crazy... not to mention strung out on drugs... She didn't remember that SHE not Tim sent us a 50 dollar check for our wedding. She said the didn't have our addresss and was going to send us another check. Before we realized what she was talking about. Unfortunalty Paul told her that she already sent us something.. I wasn't going to say anything and get extra money out of her... If she's too freakin stoned off heroin to know she sent us money let her send us more... Lol...

We went to Home Depot today and agreed on shades for the house. They're really cool... They're like shades and blinds in one. You can open the blinds part but leave the shade down... The blinds (cloth btw) are in between the shades... it's really cool... and we like them so that's even better. Paul wanted blinds, I wanted shades, and we found the perfect compormise!!!

Anyways, not much else is going on. I've been cleaning tonight. I figured I better clean out the fish tank cause when its so green you can't see the fish... that can't be good. Lol... I did the dishes, cleaned out the litter box... It was HORRIBLE.. with the dry cat food he's been drinking more water, therefore going pee more often... it was like a litter box full of amonia... Ugh.. I couldn't breathe. I also did laundry...

I'm gonna go...

We can't wait to move into our house... I HATE WAITING!!!!!

Exhausted...

Let's see... it's been about a week since my last entry so let me catch up on everything.

We had the walk through. It wasn't that exciting. We decided not to have the egress window put in the basement. To save money and we don't want to mess with the foundation. The guy we met with suggested that we shouldn't mess with the foundation, so we won't. Lol...

I didn't have my pap because I was on my period. So she did the breast check and gave me a three month bypass. So I get pills for 3 months but have to have my pap before I run out.

Jen's getting a litlle bigger. And she got the insurance. However, to get the insurance she had to use Eric's dads income (because paul makes to much). And she can't put Eric on the birth certificate, so Eric is pissed about that. Eric says that if he can't be on the birth certificate then he doesn't want to be in the room while she gives labor. He also suggested they get married but she turned him down. So Eric told her not to come over today, so she said okay. So I guess they're fighting. I dunno....

Today was the first day back to work after a long weekend. I am so tired. And Aiden wasn't thrilled to see me at all... He got to spend 5 days with his mom and dad and then I'm back. That kid is smart, he knows that when I walk in Jessie's leaving, and he doesn't like that at all... Mostly because Jessie carries him ALL THE TIME... it's crazy... but oh well... I was peed on, spit up on twice, screamed at, cried at... it was hell on earth... Lol...

Nathan is in WA getting married and I miss talking to him. He's such a good friend and I feel like I can talk to him about anything... I can't wait for him to get back. I'm happy for him though, and I hope is wedding and honeymoon is everything him and Jenn wants. He's been able to get online a couple times, but not much... I like the short times that he's on... it's nice talking to him... and a change from my day...

We didn't do much over the long weekend... it was very relaxing. On Saturday we went to Fay and Jerry's and hung out in the pool. Beth and Bobby were there too. Then we went to Beth's house that night and hung out. On Sunday we went to Beth's again and layed around. We watched "Freedomland" it was an okay movie.... nothing special. On Monday.... hmm what'd we do?!?! Just sat around. We went up to the house and signed the papers saying we wanted to take the egress window off the house. Jen's been home early every night and we've been playing 31 with her. She likes and Paul and I like spending the time with her....

Not much else is going on... Just tired and not looking foward to tomorrow!! Lol... it's my long day... 730-630 UGH!!!

Oh yea, we made love Sunday night and Monday. It was awesome!!! Man I love him so much. I can't imagine what I would do without him... I would go crazy... well maybe not but it wouldn't be easy. He makes me soo happy. When I hear his voice on the phone or see him walk in the door from work I just smile and smile... it's so good to see him after a day at work... or when he gets home from work.... Love him to death!!!
