6 Days!!!

I can't freakin believe this!!! 6 Freaking days till we move into our house!!!!! Hopefully... Alots been going on with the house. We had the orientation walk through on Tuesday... that went really good, just pointed about a ton of small things... little dings in the wall etc... nothing major...

Then we had to move the Appraisal up a day because Leon said that it was cutting it a little close. That if we kept the appointment for Friday then we might not be able to do the closing on Aug 31... and we weren't about to let that happen... Lol...

Paul just called and he dropped all the papers off at Leons office for Diane.. He had to drop of 2004 and 2005 tax returns, his last 2 pay stubbs, 12 month rental history for the apartment, and a lease of the apartment... he also dropped off his retirement plan for them too. Diane was impressed with how organized everything was and said that she "Would work her magic"... let's hope she does!!!

Anyways, I'm still not working... it sucks... i've been moping around the house for the past week and a half... UGH!!!! I hope I can go back to work soon. But hopefully not until after we move into the house.

My computer quit working last Friday because the power cord wasn't working... So the computer was working, but wasn't recieving power so when the battery died my computer didnt work... Paul called Dell and told them to send us a new power cord, but they wanted to come out and put in a new mother board, because they didn't think it was the power cord. So we had to wait till Wednesday for some dude with grimy long hair that kept coughing on my laptop to change the mother board, and then it STILL didn't work... so finally they sent me a freaking power cord, so it's working now. UGH!!!

Anyways, I can't wait until we move into our house!!!!!!!

We ordered blinds from selectblinds.com and they should be coming in the next couple of weeks. I also just odered paint samples from Behr.com I ordered Mother Nature - for the kitchen, Summer Field - for the foyer, stairs, and hall, and Gobi Desert - for the living room!!! We'll try the samples and see what we think... they look cool on the computer...

Anyways, not much else is going on, so I'm gonna go... just trying to relax now that I know the closing with be on the 31st... YAY!!!

I love Paul!!!

Oh yea, forgot to say that Jen's not moving into the house with us... Her and Eric got an apartment... I give it till Halloween... She'll be moved in with us and her and Eric will be broken up... UGH!!!! I hope that doesn't happen... but it probably willl... maybe I should just be more optomistic... but this is Jen we're talking about.... Oh well...!!!

Still can't wait to move into our new house... Just Paul and me!!!! YAY!!! Husband and Wife... alone at last and it's OUR time!!!

UGH and YAY!

It's been a while since my last entry. Not a whole lot has happened... This entry is just what is says "UGH and YAY!!"

Ugh - Yesterday was my last day at work for a while. Jessies dad got laid off so he's going to watch Aiden for a few weeks... Hopefully, he'll get tired of it and I'll be able to start back in a couple weeks. On the other hand, it gives me a few weeks to get everything packed and get the apartment cleaned from top to bottom... so this is kinda "UGH" and "OKAY"; not really a "YAY" but an "OKAY".

YAY - OMG I have VIP tickets to "Extreme Home Makeover" for tomorrow. I am taking Fay with me, and we're sooo excited about it. We're supposed to get free food and drinks, etc. I don't know if we'll get to see the house and meet some of the stars from the show... it's so exciting. I can't wait. I have to get up at like 9 in the morning tho... another UGH!! Lol... but I'll do it to get the "YAY" lol... Lombardo is the builder that is building the house on the show, and since he's the builder that is building our house we were offered VIP tickets... YAY!!

So I picked up the tickets today and Jen went with me. We go to see the house... it's really coming along. All the sinks, counters, toilets, and tubs are in. They have the hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room in. And the floors in the foyer, laundry room, powder room, and grade door also. All the tile is in the bathrooms, it looks really nice. Everything is really dusty tho... Lol... of course. In less then three weeks we'll be moved in... YAY!!!!

Last weekend we went to church. It was my first adult experience in a Catholic church. It was very... interesting... yea, that word'll do... Lol... Paul didn't warn me at all... but like he said, he didn't know what I knew and didn't know, he thought all churches were the same... WELL THEY AREN'T!!! I didn't know about responding, and we did more standing and kneeling then sitting. There was also more singing then sermon... And the communion... whoa... I'm so glad Paul told me I couldn't go up there because when I say everyone else getting up I would have went too... Lol... that wouldn't have been good. And "Peace be with you" that threw me also... I'm glad Paul said it to me first because I didn't know what was going on and wouldn't have known what to say to people or what was going on... Ugh... I guess I'll get used to it. We were going to go to a diff church this weekend because we want to try a few before we decide which one we like the most. Oh another thing, I didn't know you werent supposed to talk... How horrible!!! We walked in and I started talking to Paul and he was ignoring me and then told me not to talk. In my church it was very social. You walked in a started talking to people... Needless to say, Catholic churches are VERY different from the southern Baptist church I grew up on... Lol...

Not much else is going on. I went to Petco and got some more cat food, put gas in the car, went to Blockbuster, and Kroger. From Blockbuster I got "Final Destination 3", "V is for Vendetta", and "Inside Man". They sounded good so we'll see...

Anyways, Paul should be home soon. Can't wait to see him... Love that man sooo much!!!

Packing, Packing, Packing...

I've been so busy packing. Our living room is full of boxes. I'm enjoying packing. It's giving me a chance to get rid of a bunch of old crap.

Only 28 days until the closing... Hehehe... I'm so excited. But I hate waiting... Lol...

Not much else is going on. We just chilled at home on the weekend. Didn't do much.

I woke up a lil depressed on Sunday and spent 2 hours in bed crying. Paul was very supportive and held me the whole time. So that was nice.

I went to Jen's dr.s appointment with her today. They did another ultrasound and a 3D ultrasound. It was so cool. I can't wait to be pregnant. The 3D ultrasound was cool, you can actually make out the babies facial features.

My hours at work are a lil different this week. I worked from 730 to 230 yesterday, and had today off. Then tomorrow I work from 730 to 1230. And I work all day Friday... Ugh...

Anyways, I'm gonna close for now... like I said, not much is going on, just been busy packing and very excited about moving!!!!

28 DAYS!!!
