First Ultrasound....

We had our first ultrasound of baby Cooper on Thursday Aug, 23. It was really neat...

Paul was a little nervous because it was a vag u/s and he didn't want to see her putting the probe in lol... He got to looking around the room when we first got there and the only chair in there was RIGHT in front of where I would be laying on the table (legs spread) about 10 feet away... He said "I'M NOT SITTING THERE" lol... I told him that he wouldn't be sitting there because he would be standing next to me holding my hand! He was like "oh okay" lol

So then we get ready to start and she inserts the probe and I kinda squeeze Paul's hand and little and he squeezes back... But doesn't stop squeezing lol... Finally about half way thro I had to tell him to stop squeezing lol...

Paul was all smiles when he saw the baby move. And then the doctor let me see... It was so great to see the babies heart beat. We got to see his legs, arms, face... The baby waved, kicked, and jumped... It was great!!!

I was really nervous that they wouldn't be able to find the heart beat... after the bleeding scare last month... but she did!!! We didn't get to hear it, but I saw it... It was great...

On the way home we stopped at CVS and I made copies of the ultrasound picture... We're calling it "the cute blob" picture... cause thats what it looks like lol... I don't know why she didn't give us the picture of his face, arms, and legs... we got the blob picture... but he's a cute blob!!! lol...

Oh yea, I think we've decided that if it's a girl we're still going to name her Cooper... Seems cool!!!
